GOALS:

The Department of Social Work aims to prepare students to integrate knowledge, skills, and values into practice by fulfilling the following goals:
To equip young social workers with generalist knowledge, Ethics ,values, and skills and to prepare competent professionals for entry level social work practice with diverse systems within a global context.

OBJECTIVES:

To develop worthy citizens with high moral values, deep professional knowledge, sharpened skills and positive frame of mind.
To impart education in accordance with the changing needs of society.
To offer Generic based Specialization relevant courses and increase the employability of the students.
To sensitize the student community on the social realities and to prepare them to adequately respond to those realities in the society.
