PG Department of English organized A Webinar on “Activity Based Learning Method” was conducted by the PG Department of English (SSP) on 27.05.2020. Dr. C. S Senthil, Assistant Professor of English, Thiyagarajar Arts College, Madurai was our amiable Resource Person and more than 1350 registered for this webinar including Professors, Research Scholars and Students from different parts of India.

The Webinar begun with welcome address proposed by Ms. R. Sudha Selvi M.A., M.Phil., (PH.D) head department of English. This webinar was viewed by 461 participants through Zoom app and through Face book live 1000 people viewed and got benefited. After the resource had finished his session, participants were given chance to ask questions to the resource person. He cleared their doubts and the webinar came to an end.

PG department of English organized A National Level Quiz on “Gothic Literature” was conducted on 29.04.2021 & 30.05.2021 and more than 450 registered for this Quiz including Professors, Research Scholars and Students from different parts of India.

PG department of English organized an event on “Women’s day Celebration” was conducted on 09.03.2021 and the events are Role Play and Essay Writing in English. All Students from PG English participated in the events and the Prizes were backed up by three students in both activities.

PG Department of English organized the “Flamboyant fest” on the topic “Enrich Your Personality by ECAP Ennum Vazhikatti, Karur on 13.03.2021 at Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam auditorium. All Students from our college participated in the event and enriched their mind through this program. Our College had signed MoU with this organization on that day.
